Siamak Tenzif is an epidemiologist with a diverse background in research, analytics, health information management, performance measurement and reporting as well as policy development. A graduate of the Universities of Toronto and Waterloo, Siamak’s career record includes tenures at several Ontario hospitals, Health Quality Ontario, Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Ministry of Children and Youth Services as well as Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
In his current role as Director of Decision Support and Health Information Management at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Siamak oversees the critical analytics work that are carried out in his department through Decision Support and Health Data Resources portfolios as means of providing information and insight to the executive team, clinicians, researchers and frontline staff.
Siamak’s interests include analytics as well as research in exploring ways and methods of bringing high quality data to life by working with various stakeholders and exploring innovative approaches in using business intelligence tools and techniques.
Siamak has presented results of his research, analytics and as well as performance measurement nationally and internationally.
